The staff was very friendly, unfortunately I wasn't that convinced of the food, it didn't seem very "homemade", especially the fries. Ambience is nice and cozy.

Burger very tasty!

We had ordered the grill pan and the gourmet toast once. The steak, which belonged to the grill pan, was ordered in English. There was a steak that was well done. After commenting, we were offered that the steak should not be charged or that a new one be brought to us. We were then brought a new steak, which was also not anywhere in English. The steak was well done again. There was no difference to the steak brought before. I then drew attention to it again and spoke to the boss personally. He emphasized that the steak was English. I asked him to look at the steak, but he continued to say that he had prepared it in English. Unfortunately, very disappointing. After that, however, they offered us again not to charge the steak. The blast came afterwards. A cook came to our table very angry and presented it as if we did not know how a steak was fried in English and discussed it with us. Since I come from the gastro myself, I absolutely cannot understand the behavior. Since the service was very friendly, I gave it 2 stars, but we won't be back and we won't recommend it to anyone.

Have eaten here many times and do this regularly. So far there have never been any problems! Delicious! Portions adequate and not like some other host, where the chips are virtually counted. The map is kept pretty small in my opinion. Despite that, there are great, changing dishes that I'm sure have something for everyone. So far, I have been extremely satisfied with the food every time. Recently, there are homemade fries, which also taste very good. The prices are completely reasonable and not over the top. The waiter staff is always friendly, competent and always very courteous by the bank. We like to go to the Hoesten pump and there are always welcome. Also, we visited several times one or the other big event in the hall, and always everything went smoothly. Except for a speedy reunion Best regards Sebastian

Unfortunately we were deeply disappointed with the food. The garnish salad tasteless and sandy. The house fries mushy. Also with the pulled burger sand in the lettuce leaves. All in all a disaster at an inappropriate price. The only highlight was the friendly service. The boss assumed that our complaints were not correct. Without convincing yourself. Outrageous. Never again Höstenpumpe.

Unfortunately, my experience is not so good either. Wanted to have a meal with about 20 people. When we came to discuss read us first at least 15 minutes stupid. And three people were behind the counter we were asked what you could do for us. The food was on our part no longer. I do not care if it's 20 or 120 people you should respectfully treat people.

I would give 3.5 stars. You could have done a lot better during our visit, but maybe this review is also suitable for the operators of the Hoestenpump. We had reserved a table and were not accompanied to the table. We were only told that we would sit in the winter garden. So we looked for our place there. Unfortunately we had been placed right next to the salad bar, so there was a lot of through traffic, because everything dashed into the conservatory to put the salad together. Here you should definitely find another place for, because you feel permanently disturbed. Our waitress was very nice, but forgot to bring the sauces. The ordered starter was unfortunately a joke. A few pieces of bread with a kind of mayonnaise. The waiting time for the meals was okay as it was really full that evening and we understood that it took longer. The food was not a real treat but absolutely fine.
